Our History

The M-K Specialty Contracts Group (MKSCG) is a general contracting and construction management firm with offices in Frederick and Columbia, Maryland. MKSCG believes that every job deserves a strong focus on quality and attention to detail - no matter its size. MKSCG brings that focus to smaller construction projects, which often bring unique challenges, such as critical completion schedules and demanding work environments.

Twenty three years after its inception, the M-K Specialty Contracts Group has built an impressive resume of completed projects running the gamut from ice-cream parlors to financial institutions . . . from a gymnasium to grocery stores. Over the past 23 years, the M-K Specialty Contracts Group has formed a highly experienced project management team which includes project managers, estimators, project engineers, and superintendents, as well as repair and service specialists. Experience has taught these teams how to insure that smaller, special jobs are successful for our clients. The M-K Specialty Contracts Group is very hands-on, and knows how to fast track projects, saving client's headaches, time and money.
